I was walking near Dongmyo Market in Seoul when I saw some dude with a sheet laid out on the sidewalk selling these glasses. I asked how much they were, scoffed at his $3 price and started walking away. He proposed $2, but I countered with $1, to which he said no. I had walked down the street about twenty meters when I heard him calling me back. He’d accepted the price and this series began.
